Extra Cheesy BLT Pizza

Serves 8 | 

A simple twist on a classic recipe, bringing together the best of both worlds.

Ingredients:

12 strips bacon, (cooked and crumbled)
2 cups shredded lettuce
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 cup Cheddar cheese, (shredded)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tomatoes, (thinly sliced)
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1 12-inch pizza crust
1 cup Mozzarella cheese, (shredded)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425° F.
  2. Place pizza crust on an ungreased tray.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine garlic powder, mayo, onion powder and basil.
  4. Spread mixture over pizza crust.
  5. Set aside 1/4 cup crumbled bacon. Sprinkle cheeses and remaining bacon over pizza crust.
  6. Place pizza in oven and bake 8-12 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle shredded lettuce and 1/4 cup bacon over cooked pizza. Place tomato slices on last, cut into 8 slices and enjoy!
